We are a mobile roadside assistance service built for one purpose: to reach a stranded driver in Bengaluru quickly, fix the car where it stands, and be honest about what it costs. Nothing more complicated than that.
The Problem We Set Out To Solve
Namma ResQ began with a familiar frustration. A car would break down in Bengaluru traffic, and the owner would be handed three bad options: abandon the vehicle and hunt for a mechanic, pay for a tow to a workshop they had never visited, or accept whatever price a stranger quoted on the roadside with no way to verify it.
The city made all three worse. A trip across Bengaluru to a service centre can consume ninety minutes before anyone looks under the bonnet. Workshops close by evening, precisely when breakdowns are most inconvenient. And roadside repairs — done by whoever happens to be passing — carry no invoice, no warranty and no accountability if the fault returns a week later.
So we asked a simple question: why does the car have to go to the mechanic at all? A mechanic with the right tools can solve most breakdowns at the roadside. The problem was never a lack of skill in this city; it was the absence of a network that connects skilled technicians to stranded drivers quickly, transparently and safely.
That question became Namma ResQ — a network of background-verified mobile mechanics positioned across Bengaluru, dispatched to the nearest available crew, available at every hour, and held to a standard we would accept for our own families.

The approved quotation is the bill. Any change requires your consent before work continues.
GST invoice on every job, parts listed separately, old components returned to you for inspection.
Technicians can refuse work that cannot be performed safely, and we back that decision.

How We Grew
- The first call
We started with a handful of technicians in south Bengaluru, handling jumpstarts and punctures in Jayanagar, JP Nagar and BTM Layout — mostly through word of mouth.
- Building the network
As demand grew, we onboarded and verified more mechanics, and began positioning crews deliberately across localities rather than running everything from one point.
- Going round the clock
Night calls became our defining service. We committed to genuine 24/7 dispatch with no night surcharge, and that is when the network really took shape.
- Adding specialised services
Diagnostics, flatbed towing, clutch and brake work, electrical fault tracing and lockout assistance joined the core offering as our technicians' skills deepened.

Are you a workshop or a mobile service?
We are a mobile service. Our technicians travel to your vehicle and complete most jobs at the roadside or in your own parking. We do not operate a walk-in workshop — if a repair genuinely requires a vehicle lift, we arrange discounted towing to a partner workshop instead.
Who owns Namma ResQ?

Do you work only in Bengaluru?
Our service network covers Bengaluru and its surrounding corridors. We also provide inter-city vehicle transport to Mysore, Chennai and Hyderabad, and can travel to peripheral areas at an agreed outstation rate.
How do you verify your mechanics?
Every technician submits Aadhaar and PAN documentation, passes a practical skill assessment with a senior technician, and is rated by customers after each job. Ratings below our threshold trigger a review, and repeated issues end the association.
Are your prices higher than a regular workshop?
Usually comparable, often lower — and you are not paying for a workshop's overheads or losing half a day in traffic. More importantly, you see the work being done in front of you, with old parts returned and a GST invoice issued. See our FAQ for indicative prices by service.
